These two couldn't have picked a better set of locations! Elizabeth Park, with its organic and romantic atmosphere, was the perfect choice for the ceremony. We were blessed with the most dreamy light shining through my favorite willow tree, and I'm pretty sure it was during that time that I was convinced that Alison was in fact a real life fairy. I mean, look at her! Not only that, but she actually made that perfect flower crown that she's wearing...and it was her first attempt at ever making one. How does one create something so perfect on their first try? More proof that she's a fairy? I think so! Now that the wedding is over and she has some free time, I am going to hire her to make flower crowns for all of my brides, because it should be required that everyone wear one, in my opinion.
The beauty of the day didn't end at Elizabeth Park. The Simsbury 1820 House was incredibly gorgeous and laid back, and totally reflected Chris + Alison's relaxed and easy going nature, and the food at Metro Bis Restaurant was fabulous! Oh, and we also stopped at the Flower Bridge (The Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge) in Simsbury, CT on our way to the reception, and being that Chris + Alison are both firefighters, they got to not only pose with one of the old fire engines that they arranged to be there, but also arrived to the reception in it! Pretty perfect day all around! I can't wait to edit the rest of their images!!
